Posted June 21, 2019 11:06:29 It can be overwhelming to be Christian in the United States.
But what does it mean to be one?
The ABC’s Dan Carter spoke to six young people living in the US, asking what it is like to belong to a church, to be an atheist, and to believe in Jesus Christ.
It’s a question we’re all asked, and it’s a difficult one to answer.
A question of faith is what the bible says, the same as being Jewish, Mormon or Buddhist, the ABC’s Daniel Carter says.
What is it about Jesus that makes him different?
You could argue that he is not Jewish, but if you were to say that to him, you’d be saying that he’s not Jewish at all, he’s just a different race.
That’s a different concept.
He was not a Jewish prophet, he was not the Messiah, he wasn’t the son of God.
Jesus is not the only one.
The bible has it that all of the other prophets and apostles of the New Testament were also Christians, and that there was a group of Christians who were persecuted by the Romans.
They were called the Jews and the Gentiles, and they were hated by the Roman empire.
And when they were persecuted, Jesus says, they took refuge in the desert, because they feared for their lives.
The Romans, on the other hand, persecuted those who were Christians.
In the end, the Jews were finally able to escape to Palestine, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea.
You see this as one of the greatest Christian achievements.
How would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as a non-believer.
I think it’s quite ironic, really, because the whole reason why you believe in God in the first place is that you are an unbeliever.
Why did you become an atheist?
Because I had a very good friend that had just died, and he was an atheist and she had died.
She had been an atheist for some years, and I felt she would have been just as happy to be with me, I guess.
So I decided to give up the faith and go back to Christianity.
Did you come to Christianity in the same way as other Christians?
I came to Christianity from a nonbelieving point of view.
I did not come to Jesus in any sort of spiritual sense, but I was very interested in his life, and his teachings, so I went back to the church, and there was something very beautiful about what I was hearing and seeing, so it wasn’t a very bad choice.
Do you believe there is any god?
I do not believe there was ever a god in the sense of the Bible, so you can’t say there was.
I would say that there is no god, but there is some sort of intelligent being that is watching over us and guiding us.
Is there anything else you want people to know about you?
I think people should know that I am not religious, but just like most people, I think that I have a sense of humour.
My biggest goal is to help other Christians and Jews in the UK, and then hopefully the rest of the world. Thank you.
