A man has been taken to hospital after an incident at a Christ hospital in Perth’s north.

“The male is seen walking towards the door of the hospital with the door open and the woman with her head turned to the left,” the spokeswoman said.
“They both walk past the door towards the street, and the door opens and the man appears to take a few strides towards the side of the building.”
Police said the man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken by ambulance to the hospital’s intensive care unit.
He is in an induced coma.
“He is a man in his early 60s with facial hair, facial injuries, and a head injury to his face,” the police spokeswoman added.
“We don’t have any information on what the nature of the injuries are, or if they are life-threatening.”
The hospital said it had received several calls about the incident.
“Our first concern is for the safety of the patient, his family and the public,” a spokesperson said.
